Penelope K. Parmer concentrates her practice
in civil litigation with emphasis in the area
of professional liability.Prior to joining the firm, she served as judicial clerk to the Honorable Brigid Mary McGrath, Circuit Court of Cook County, Commercial Calendar. Penelope also worked in the Chicago office of Foley & Lardner, LLP as a member of their transactional and securities group.
A native of Champaign-Urbana, Penelope received a bachelor's degree in political science and English from the University of Illinois in 1999. She received her doctor of law degree from the University of Wisconsin in 2002.
Penelope was admitted to the Illinois State bar in 2002. She is a member of the Illinois State and Champaign County Bar Associations. She is also licensed to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
In addition to her legal activities, Ms. Parmer paints abstract art in bold acrylics.
