Roger Haughey joined the firm in 1953 and concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate, probate and commercial law.
Mr. Haughey is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Law and was admitted to the bar in 1952. He is a former member of the Assembly of the Illinois State Bar Association in addition to serving as a member or chairman of various committees. He has also been published in the Association's journal.
Mr. Haughey is a past president of the Champaign County Bar Association and a former director of the Illinois Bar Foundation.
Within the community, he served six years on the Champaign City Plan Commission, including two years as its chairman. Mr. Haughey also served as chairman of the Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District in its formative years. He is a past president of the McKinley YMCA and the Champaign-Urbana Kiwanis Club and the Garwood Home for Senior Citizens. An active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Champaign, he is currently a member of the board of directors of the Disabled Citizens Foundation.
